Occasionkart Cakes, A Retail Cake Store, is baking the best products for any celebration. Occasionkart is registered in Hyderabad (GHMC Zone).

This page contains all the information about the Terms and Conditions of the company.

Products:

  1. All the products shown on the website are subject to availability.

  2. Since cakes are handcrafted by different chefs in different styles, every chef has their own making style, so the cakes shown on the website may slightly vary from the reference photo; however, we try to match the cake to 80% in its resemblance.

  3. During hard times, when there is a non-availability of flavors, we seek permission from the customer to change the flavor of the cake.

  4. All the products are made in a hygienic environment with the best branded materials only.

  5. The flower bouquet images are just a reference to the quantity of flowers our florists make in their own style.

 Customized Theme cakes:

  • We do encourage customized theme cakes; we make cakes based on customer requirements.

  • We don’t guarantee reaching customer expectations regarding the output; however, we try to make our best.

  • During customization of the cake, we encourage customers to share some reference images, so that it would give better clarity to the chef to make the cake.

  • The output of the cakes may not resemble high-end photos shared or cakes made abroad.

CAKE COLORS AND SELECTION:

  1. ​We would like to give a caution that dark color may stick to the hand, and it takes time to leave the skin. 
  2. Dark colors may be sour in Taste, and you may not enjoy the cake’s taste.
  3. We always suggest that customers choose light colors for the cakes.
  4. Customer is responsible for the color selection.
  5. We may not let you know about the cake color selection during busy times orally or via WhatsApp, or in the Product description. The customer must be aware of this by going through the terms and conditions page.

Ordering and Processing:

  1. Orders are taken via website, WhatsApp, and direct walk-in to the store. We have a user-friendly website, where it is very easy to input instructions and place orders online. Customers can also book orders via WhatsApp at 9059058058.

  2. If the customer places an order online via the website, full payment has to be made during the checkout process. No orders are fulfilled without receiving payment. Once we get the order customer receives an auto-generated email with all necessary details.

  3. If the customer is placing an order via store or WhatsApp, it is mandatory to process 50% of the amount as a token of advance, so that the order is placed internally.

Delivery Process:

  1. Since cakes are perishable items, delivery is done only once as per the time slot.

  2. We are not responsible if the receiver is not available or if their phone is not in the connecting region. We encourage the receiver to collect it from our store.

  3. During peak hours or on special days, delivery may be delayed from the scheduled slots.

  4. During the delivery of cakes, we request the receiver to capture a photo so that it will be proof for us of perfect delivery. If the receiver does not cooperate, we are not responsible for damage to the cake.

  5. If the cakes are damaged during the process of delivery, we will make a new product and send it immediately or process a full refund.

  6. If, for any reason, the delivery is “refused by the recipient”, the order will be considered as delivery attempted, and no refund/change of order is acceptable in this case. We, however, will try our best to convince the recipient to accept the delivery.

  7. If the recipient is not found at home/office, your gift will be delivered to the neighbor or security. At reception (in case of office), your order will be considered as delivered, and we will not be responsible for any damage or loss of items. If the recipient’s number is incorrect, not responding, or is unavailable, the delivery may not be possible, and as such, the recipient must collect the order from our delivery center within 24 hrs. from the scheduled delivery time.

​Complimentary: (When Requested)

  1. A complimentary knife will be given for every cake.

  2. A candle will be given for a minimum of one kg of cake.

  3. Long-distance cakes are packed with dry ice.

  4. Complimentary Toppers are provided for cakes above 5 kgs.

​Refunds and Cancellations:

  1. If the customer wants to cancel the order, they should give us prior intimation before 12 hours before via email or WhatsApp. Our team reverts with the possibility of cancellations. If it is a customized cake, we may or may not process the cancellation.

  2. If the order is cancelled and the cancellation is approved, we will refund the full amount back in the same payment mode.

  3. Refunds/compensations for orders after thoroughly checking the status of products and, delivery process. It is Mandatory to submit photos and evidence to claim a refund. Fake Complaints and disputes are subject to legal proceedings.

  4. We don’t refund for any complaints raised on taste or quality of product, since we are premium bakers, we trust our taste and quality.

  5. Customer compensation is done purely by the customer support team based on valid reasons and proof only.

  6. No refunds on orders which are delivery delivered.

  7. We hold the right to cancel the order if there is any problem on our side or any emergencies.

Important:

  1. Occasionkart is a physical bakery shop located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, specializing in cakes, pastries, and bakery products. All orders are prepared and delivered exclusively within Hyderabad.
  2. Service Area & Delivery: Deliveries are strictly limited to Hyderabad city and surrounding areas as defined at checkout. Orders for outside Hyderabad will not be accepted.
  3. Delivery times are approximate and may vary due to traffic or other unforeseen circumstances.
  4. Payment & Refund Policy: Full payment is required at the time of order confirmation. Refunds will be processed only in accordance with proof of damage or service failure. Any request for refunds or compensation must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery, along with supporting proof (photos, videos).   5. All disputes or claims arising from orders placed with Occasionkart are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hyderabad courts.
  6. Customers agree that no claims will be filed in courts outside Hyderabad.
  7. Occasionkart will contest any legal proceedings initiated outside Hyderabad.
  8. Accuracy of Information: Occasionkart makes every effort to ensure that product descriptions, prices, and images are accurate. We reserve the right to correct errors or update information without prior notice.
  9. Limitation of Liability: Occasionkart is not liable for delays caused by third-party vendors, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances. Liability is limited to the value of the product purchased, except in cases of proven negligence.
  10. Customer Responsibility: Customers must provide accurate delivery addresses and contact information. Occasionkart is not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect information provided by the customer.
  11. Acceptance of Terms: By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted all website policies.  Optional Legal Highlight (to prevent cross-city consumer cases):
